South African-born artist and 3D designer, Nurjannah, has always loved to experiment with acrylic paint fusing textures and techniques culminating in the heart series. Hailing originally from Cape Town and having lived in European and Asian countries for the past 2 decades, Nurjannah started an inward journey during the COVID-19 pandemic. This resulted in the medium of paint being used as an outlet of self-expression and creativity for her during this life-changing period. During the current post-pandemic era, she continues to find inspiration in her daily life, to bring her works of art to fruition on any canvas she sets her eyes on. Art is Nurjannah's safe haven to recreate the inner turmoll and journey beyond self. In doing so, this allows this talented artist to surpass the layers of ancestral programming, connecting with her inner child and finally finding a sense healing and peace within.
